Fees

We truly specialize in treating trauma. We can do our job best when patients can be the most consistent in treatment. Working with clinicians in this group practice requires patients to attend a minimum of one session per week (no exceptions) for at least the first six months of treatment. If you are looking to be seen on a less frequent basis, we will not be a good fit for you.

Insurance

Cherese Alcorn, LCSW is an in-network provider for Aetna, Cigna, Healthlink, Multi-plan, and United Healthcare insurance carriers. Cherese only provides treatment to adults (no couples at this time). Out of network fees are discussed during consultation appointments.

Courtney Kempker, LPC is an in-network provider for Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare. Courtney provides treatment to adolescents and adults. Courtney's out of network fee is $100/session for adults and $125/session for adolescents and family therapy.

Payment is required at the beginning of each session. Primary methods of acceptable payments include cash, check, and money order. Secondary acceptable methods of payment include: American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Stripe, Square, and Visa.

Sliding Scale Fees

All clinicians in this practice offer a sliding scale fee (lowest fee for children is $80/session and $60/session for adults) for patients who are under uninsured. Sliding scale fees are income contingent. Proof of income is required to be submitted prior to scheduling the first appointment.

Tips for Saving Money

  • Select a low deductible insurance plan or a plan that does not require you to meet your deductible before the plan will pay for mental health treatment

  • You may save money with an insurance plan that has a higher premium, but better benefits for in and out-of-network psychotherapy providers

  • Your out-of-pocket medical expenses can be reduced by using a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

  • You may consider claiming your treatment expense as a medical tax deduction
